MEET GENEVIEVE
genevieve's Story
Genevieve is a TCM nutritionist, classically trained chef and herbalist. Having experienced an embodied knowing of food as medicine was the spark that ignited Genevieve’s path. The frequency and energetic vibration that is held by food can become intentional medicine when used as such.
Genevieve always enjoyed cooking, it was the one thing that brought her mind to ease and became a moving meditation that allowed her to drop deeper into herself. This put her life into perspective and she moved to New York to train at the French Culinary Institute. However, she began to feel worse as the program progressed, and she recognized how the food she ate was affecting her body and mind on a fundamental level. From there, she dove deep into a life-long study of healing arts and learned how to heal herself with natural remedies and functional medicine therapies. Genevieve continues to dedicate her life to a path of healing through food as medicine and plant medicine allies. She is currently working towards her Doctorate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at Yosan University in Los Angeles, California.
Food is medicine and our body is the altar. Every meal is a deep form of self-care and reverence to what lies within. When we eat and cook with intention and awareness, we infuse our energy, love, and magic into the elements of the earth to provide our bodies with the deepest sense of nourishment – this is the ultimate medicine.
